Challenges
To enable a migration to a supported platform and product to mitigate risk. The main challenge was due to the 24x7 operational nature of the business being able to successfully migrate with the smallest possible outage window onto a cloud hosted environment with full lifecycle support.
Solution
Drawing from Pitchforks pool of skilled DBAs and Linux engineers we were able to design a methodology to migrate the live production environment to the cloud in real time with only a 1 hour outage window.
Result
Business operations were migrated within the acceptable outage time and the ongoing expertise support from Pitchfork has increased business reliability and performance to ensure growth of the company in their Supply Chain operations with their clientelle.
